On the Blog
“Ever since June passed away, I find it interesting that when the leaves fall, they die. And I can’t help but think about how sacred it is to watch this process that happens over a few weeks. These leaves are dying, and there is beauty, wonder and hope in it.” – Read Genny’s latest essay, “When summer turns to fall and the beauty in dying leaves” on the JJMF blog and featured on TODAY Parents.

Community Connections
November featured virtual events with our community through Music Therapy for families, Virtual Trauma-Informed Yoga and Yoga On-Demand for parents and caregivers. Our virtual events continue to reach new families from coast to coast! Register here for December connections.

Did you know?
November is Hospice and Palliative Care Awareness Month, Epilepsy Awareness Month, and National Family Caregivers Month – a time to recognize and shine a light on what matters every day to our courageous community.

Board Spotlight
Introducing board member and co-chair of An Evening of JOY — Mary Sigurdson. The JJMF’s mission is very close to Mary’s heart as her younger brother was born with epilepsy, and she has seen firsthand how challenging daily life can be when handling this diagnosis. We are so grateful for Mary’s compassionate spirit and commitment to the JJMF.
