Newsletter November 2022

Providing relief and support to help children with devastating medically complex, neurological conditions and their families in the St. Louis area and beyond.

Here’s what we’ve been up to…

An Evening of JOY
An amazing community of people meaningfully showed up to help make the paths easier for children bravely facing the challenges of their conditions, just like June did. Through your generosity, we raised $158,000 to support our mission. Special thanks to our co-chairs and sponsors, volunteers, Tim Convy, and Acoustik Element for helping make the evening a huge success.

Impact
Watch this year’s Evening of JOY guest of honor, Karlita Blackwell, share her son Ezra’s story and how the JJMF has made an impact on their lives through community and financial assistance.

Resource Spotlight | Palliative Care
November marked National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. Palliative care is provided by a specially-trained team of doctors, nurses and other specialists who work together to improve the quality of life for both the patient and the family. Click for resources.
