The Invisible String (Karst, P., 2000) is a heartwarming children’s book about the unbreakable connection of love. While it mentions death, its main focus is on a child’s fear of being separated from their parents or loved ones and reassures them that we are always connected to everyone we love by an invisible string.

Board Member Spotlight
We are proud to feature two very special board members in September! June’s grandmother and Board Secretary, Carol Size works tirelessly to assure continued outreach into the community through resources, services, and financial assistance. Richard Sexauer, dad to 3-year old Marlie who was diagnosed with a complex neurological condition in 2018, brings valuable advocacy and perspective that help guide our programs.

Grant Applications
JJMF grants help to pay for many essential items not covered or only partially covered by insurance, such as medical care, medications, medical equipment, in-home nursing, respite care, and more. Our next grant application deadline is October 31st. Apply here.
