Description: The JJMF hosted a screening of the new documentary titled Unseen: How We’re Failing Parent Caregivers & Why It Matters. The film provides an unfiltered glimpse into the lives of parents caring for children and adults with disabilities or complex medical needs, and opens the discussion about what supports are needed in our community. Following the film, Genny Jessee moderated a panel discussion including parents, doctors, therapists, social workers and advocates, enabling the audience to learn more about issues facing families of children with complex medical conditions and ways to improve care.
