June Jessee Memorial Foundation
The JJMF provides grants for families to relieve some of the financial burdens of the conditions. The grants help to pay for many essential items not covered or only partially covered by insurance, such as medical care, medications, medical equipment, in-home nursing, respite care, specialized formula, and more.
Carried with Love
This is an organization serving St. Louis families who have children with special needs by providing baby/toddler carriers. To be eligible, families must participate in their local Early Childhood Special Education Program or First Steps and must live in St. Louis Metro Area (Missouri counties only).

The Arya Foundation serves to provide financial aid for the purchase of medical supplies and equipment for children with medical conditions.
Missouri Assistive Technology / Kids Assistive Technology
The Kids Assistive Technology program (KAT) can provide limited funding for assistive technology, vehicle access modifications and some home access modifications for children under age 21.
United Healthcare Children’s Foundation
The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation® (UHCCF) provides medical grants to qualified families enrolled in employer-sponsored health coverage, or who have purchased an individual policy, to help pay for child health care services such as speech, physical or occupational therapy, prescriptions, formula, and medical equipment such as wheelchairs, orthotics and hearing aids.

Focuses on gifting medical equipment, providing unique education and recreational programs, funding therapy and transportation.
St. Louis Arc
Individualized services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, including: Respite hours (hours must be approved by DMH), Capable Kids and Families: lending library of toys and equipment for children with developmental disabilities (has waiting list), family play dates, music classes and more.
Missouri Department of Mental Health
Similar to First Steps; assigns a case manager who will schedule an in-home check every six months. Administers: Respite hours Sarah Lopez Medicaid Waiver – does not require applicants to be eligible for Medicaid, providing resources and assistance when other means of funding have been exhausted.
